Have you ever ordered something at a restaurant and what you got was, well, not exactly what you had in mind?
In the pictures that follow, you will find the funniest orders delivered to customers, whether because the waiter misunderstood them or because they had an amazing sense of humor!
Apparently, this is what Berliners have in mind when they’re asked to bring a small beer! Not what we expected.
When this guy asked for “nothing” as dessert during a Disney cruise, he definitely didn’t expect to be served this.
Here’s a unique way to serve a double espresso. Well, we should try it at home, too.
We have to admit that when we hear “lettuce burger” this is closer to what comes to mind than a normal burger with two pieces of lettuce as this customer really wanted.
If this is not the definition of extra frosting on a cinnamon biscuit, then we don’t know what is.
This is what you get when you order an ice cream sandwich at McDonald’s! Nice try!
7. Coffee With… Bay Leafs
When you mishear Bailey’s for bay leafs, this is what you deliver to your customers.
They asked for double pepperoni and got this. We can see nothing wrong with it!
This girl just wanted a pomegranate, strawberry and mango margarita- as in “all in one”. Instead, she got this!
10. Cheese Sticks- Or Not?
Phone orders can be tricky sometimes. Like in this case, when they ordered cheese sticks and got cheesecake instead!
Why would anyone expect cheesy onion rings to be served in a Nairobi restaurant? At least they tried.
This girl just asked for mayo on the top and bottom of her burger and she got this. Well, theoretically it’s okay, but… really?
When all you want is a vegeterian bean burger and the waiter brings you this, you’re at least disappointed!
This one had us laughing so hard! The woman ordered an affogato, explaining to the waiter that you put a scoop of ice cream and pour espresso over it. This is what she got.
When you ask for a pepperoni pizza and get a pepperoni with a pizza, it makes perfect sense to not order from that place again.
They asked for a coke and a second cup for the kids. This is what they got- it doesn’t even make sense.
Especially if it’s your orange juice that comes in salt-container size! Apparently small is a matter of perspective.
When they asked for extra pickles, we bet they didn’t expect to find a whole can of them in their sandwich.
This is what you get in Germany when you ask for a coffee with cream. We guess the customer expected the cream to float on top, but this one works too!
The order was “tomato salad with feta cheese”, but apparently they were feeling very creative in the kitchen that day and came up with this.
Whatever you do, make sure you don’t ask for cheeseburger with only ketchup at McDonald’s! You could get this.
This guy asked for a side of chips to go with his order. He got a side of chocolate chips. Sounds legit.
When this lady asked for sour cream on the side, didn’t exactly mean spread on the side of the taco.
Looks like the chef here took the description “blueberry muffin” literally and only added one blueberry in it. We’re wondering if “blueberries muffin” would have worked better.
This guy asked for a Bud light lime in a glass and this is what he got!
26. Another Ice Cream Sandwich
So apparently, it’s a thing in Thailand and the Philippines to serve this kind of ice cream sandwich as a snack!
This guy just asked for extra onion in his chili. Someone in the Wendy’s kitchen was up for a joke.
This is just playing with our nervous system! How could they mix this up? The order was “ice cream in two cups instead of cones”.
Apparently, at this restaurant “extra toasted” is synonymous to “burnt”.
“I ordered an extra toasted bagel and got this… for the second time”
Chips with cheese, as in combined, may be popular in some parts of the world, but, apparently, not in some others.
Looks like chili burger is not a thing in North Carolina. Credits to the staff for trying though!
This guy ordered a tomato salad. We’re guessing it’s not a popular dish over there.
When you ask for extra mayo in your sandwich and get this, then you know it wasn’t a good idea.
The kitchen staff here takes portions very seriously. If you ask for a little bit of salsa, then this is what you get.
When you risk to ask for cheese fries at a place where they probably don’t serve it, here’s what you get.
This lady asked for a side of cheese for her tacos and this is what she got.
Ordering a fruit salad in China apparently translates to fruit with tomatoes and mayo.
Guess someone heard “coke and water”! They’ll have to make do with this.
When you ask for tacos at your university dining hall and get this, you know you’re an adult now and need to prepare your own lunch.
This is what ordering a plain burger will get you in Malaysia! Fair enough.

Dear McDonald’s, when a customer asks for scrambled eggs with cheese chances are they want the cheese in their eggs, not on the side.
Why can’t they find a golden mean? They will either add a ton of extra mayo or two bites of bacon!
43. When The Waiter Gives You Lemons…
When this guy asked for a lemonade didn’t expect to be served fresh lemons to squeeze. Guess it’s an IKEA bar?
It’s always a good idea to be specific with your order so you don’t get surprises like this one.
“I asked for meat cheese and pickles only. I guess I should’ve been more specific.”
Lesson learnt: tacos in France look nothing like Texan tacos. Better wait until you go back home.
This one here ordered a taco and mashed potatoes at a Mexican restaurant and this is what they got. Looks weird.
