Millennials and Generation Z, also known as Genz (people born from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s), are constantly arguing with each other. Something bad happens to the Genz? Blame it on the Millennials. Something bad happens to Millennials? Blame it on Genz.
While Genz are constantly yelling at Millennials for ruining their once-good world, Millennials are fighting back and proving themselves. Growing up, Millennials had a lot of things that Genz didn’t even know about, so we decided to compile a list of all those things. Beware though, it’s bound to make you feel… Well, not so young.
Floppy discs, otherwise known as “the ‘Save’ Icon.” These bad boys weren’t the best, but they were how we got stuff done.
Remember how people used to burn CDs? We actually had to buy songs off iTunes or… maybe download them from Napster. Groundbreaking.
Film cameras – who remembers them? Before we could simply snap photos whenever we wanted, we had to load physical film into a camera and pay for every individual shot. Fun.
What came first, the house phone or the cell phone? The house phone.
I won’t lie, I was stumped for a second when I looked at this photo. However then the nostalgia of grade school rushed back. Using a marker and one of these machines, you could share almost anything with the class.
80s and 90s music used to be what people felt nostalgic for. Now it’s the 2000s.
You’re lying if you say you were never overwhelmed by all of the limitless options. This could make or break your PowerPoint presentation.
What’s that? A real phone?
When the songs on the radio make you feel nostalgic.
No but really, how did CDs work? We still don’t get it.
It’s like a USB… But it’s not.

The Game Boy Color in particular was a big hit.
We almost have CDs down, but that’s just one thing… Now what’s a CD
player?

Let alone any boy band from that era.
Pretty sure we still have these, but there was a period where breath strips were all the rage. Like, kids couldn’t get enough.
Imagine having no idea
Titanic was based off of a real story?
Vinyl. Even more confusing than CDs!
The Mummy triology, George of the Jungle, Looney Tunes… Do any of those classics ring a bell?

So tell me what you want, what you really, really want!
It’s crazy to think that kids today might actually not know what these are.
Specifically in

So chic honestly, this is a trend that needs to come back.
Possibly the greatest toy of all time.
Please SHARE this with your friends and family.
