If you ever been horseback riding you either loved it or you didn’t. Horses are one of the larger animals humans have developed relationships with and for some the experience of horseback riding can be more terrifying than thrilling. For those of us who do enjoy horseback riding, it can be one of the most exhilarating and fun experiences shared with an animal. However, there are many precautions we must take when riding horses and understand that at any point we may fall off and possibly get seriously injured if the horse gets spooked by something.

One day a user on youtube named Camillas Hesteverden decided to videotape her and three other riders taking their horses to the ocean for the very first time. As the video starts, we see the horses and the riders casually stroll through a beautiful forest.

They slowly make their way to the beach and allow the horses to get acquainted with all the sounds and feelings of the beach for the first time ever. Each horse going towards the water but are startled easily when the waves come crashing down on the shore.

We watch as the riders begin to take their horses closer and closer to the ocean while some of the riders hope off their horses to walk them through the water to ease their fears. When all you know is farmland, the stable and grass a large body of moving water can be quite intimidating. Just imagine all the sounds and sensations these animals are hearing for the very first time.

But the horses seem to begin to become more and more relaxed with the water as they spend more time going up to it, walking through it and just simply standing on the beach. Just taking the time to realize they are not in any danger and can trust the water won’t hurt them.

But just as easily as we can get frightened sometimes so do animals. Although they seemed to calm down a little bit we watch as the horses jump around in the water and use their legs to make splashes of their own. The waves moving around them a whole new sensation that is equally as exciting to the horses as it is frightening!

Then just as soon as the rider gains some confidence, that the horse is comfortable with going into the water is when her horse makes a giant leap into the ocean! Taking her by surprise as she flys upwards but grasping the reins firmly.

But they stick the landing! We can tell she is an experienced rider by the way she immediately held on tight to the reins and stuck the landing although taken by surprise at first.

After the giant leap into the ocean, the horse and the rider both agree that it is time to get out and have some relaxed normal fun on land.
