We’re all guilty of telling a white lie or two. Sometimes it’s because we don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings, other times it’s to make ourselves feel better. Whatever the reason, usually the lie is never big enough to cause any harm.
For some people, like these unlucky folk, their little white lies escalated and turned into their entire existence.
A couple of weeks ago, a Reddit thread was started by Parmersan. The user asked, “Redditors, what started off as a small lie but then snowballed into “This is my life now?” What resulted were some very hilarious, awkward, and sometimes sad stories.
One of these white lies is sure to resonate with you on some level. Just make sure you don’t get caught in these awkward predicaments.
If there’s a lesson in this for everyone — just tell the truth.
No one wants to be stuck with creamy for the rest of their life.
