Wet ‘n Wild has had quite a renaissance over the last few years. Their products are awesome, and not even just for the price. This tinted moisturizer is no exception. It’s a light coverage product so don’t expect it to turn your face into a mask, but that’s kind of the appeal. I love to read, especially before bed. My fiance and I are on very different schedules, so by the time I pick up my book he’s been asleep for hours. I’ve been searching for a sunscreen that doesn’t make my oily skin even oilier, and this is it. I’ve worked from home for a very long time, and one of the keys to my productivity is changes of scenery. It was fine, but it got really hot and burned my coffee. I also forgot to turn it off once, and that scared me, so I started looking for an alternative. This mug warmer allows me to choose the temperature, and it has an automatic shutoff if I haven’t moved my mug in a few hours. A Basic Bag That’s Anything But
I don’t actually remember why I bought this bag. I needed a new purse and wanted it to be green, but I didn’t put a lot of effort into buying one. Man, I lucked out. This purse is so tough, made of lightweight nylon so it’s easy to clean. The strap is long and adjusts easily so it can be a shoulder bag or a cross-body bag, and it comes in a bunch of fun colors. Most importantly, it holds so. Much. Stuff. In the Before Times, this was my go-to travel bag, and it was usually the only carry-on I took with me. During lockdown, I turned my laptop into a desktop setup with an external monitor, but it wasn’t comfortable. I felt like I was too close to the monitor and I was hunching to see it. This riser was pricey, but it was worth every penny. It required a little assembly, but it’s well constructed from bamboo. It’s heavy, so I know it’s not going to cave under the weight of my monitor. It has a smaller footprint than many of the other diffusers I looked at, and I don’t know if the Himalayan salt has an effect, but it looks pretty. The lights are nice too. I know that headline sounds like I’m being sarcastic, but I’m not. I literally bought these wine tumblers for a “camping” trip. We were in the woods near a river… but there was also a large house with running water, electricity, and WiFi, so we weren’t exactly roughing it. I thought the wood pattern was cute, and I appreciate that these came with lids, stainless steel straws, a cleaning brush, and those little silicone things that make drinking out of stainless steel less terrible. They also keep drinks cold for hours. Not that wine sits in the tumbler that long.

It feels like good quality and comes in so many colors and a fairly inclusive array of sizes. For under $20 it’s a good bet.

I’m a writer and I go places, so it’s inevitable that sometimes I’m not near my computer when I have an idea. Sometimes I just write it down like a normal human, but sometimes my idea is a long one and I really wish I had a way to type it. If you’re looking for a sleep mask but don’t want it to include headphones, this is the one for you. It comes in different colors, and it’s really soft and lovely. It comes with packets of lavender and flax seeds that you can add to the inside pouch of the mask, adding some weight. This is great for migraine sufferers like me. The lavender is just nice. It smells pretty, and is excellent for relaxing and sleep.
A Throwback Toy That 21st Century Kids Love
I’m a child of the 80s and I distinctly remember one of my favorite toys, my Glo Worm. I didn’t realize it, but Playskool started making them again, and they’re so cute! A Container That Allows Easy Access To A Gift From The Gods – Coffee
Stale coffee sucks, and it might be my imagination, but I feel like it gets stale pretty quickly. I also don’t like having to scoop coffee out of a bag. It’s annoying. So this container is perfect for me. It keeps my coffee fresh for weeks (if it ever lasts that long), and it comes with a handy dandy scoop that fits right in the lid. It’s easy to store and I can stack stuff on top of it. After using it for a few weeks I bought a second one, because who wants the same kind of coffee every day?
The King of Blenders
I put off getting a Ninja blender for years, and I kick myself for it. It’s so, so good. I love making smoothies and my old blender couldn’t handle it. I’d have to babysit it and stir it and the whole process was just a nightmare. I bought this whole kit with a large blender carafe, a food processor, and my favorite part, the individual smoothie cups. Making smoothies in these cups is a breeze. I put the stuff in the cup, attach the blade, and blend. Two minutes and I have a delicious smoothie.
Travel Bottles For The After Times
Some day we’ll all be traveling again, and when that happens I want to be prepared. I take a lot of liquids with me when I travel, and most of them come in inconvenient sizes or treacherous glass bottles, so I bought these refillable bottles. They have airless pumps, which I find more convenient than squeeze bottles, and they feel well made even though they’re relatively inexpensive. I haven’t had a chance to put them to the test, but I’m confident I’ll be pleased.
A Shower Caddy For People Who Love Bath Products
It’s me. I’m the one who loves bath products. The number of shampoos and body washes currently in my shower borders on the ridiculous, but this shower caddy has completely solved the issue of not having enough shelf space. It’s wide enough and sturdy enough to hold large liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner, plus multiple body washes, face cleansers, and whatever else I feel is necessary. The hooks are handy for my loofah and konjac sponge. The best part? It’s never fallen down.

Rocketbook has been around for a while, but I don’t see many people on the internet talking about them. This is such a cool, environmentally responsible solution for people who prefer to take notes on physical paper. These notebooks require special pens, but you can write as much as you want or need, then erase it with the included microfiber cloth and start all over again. Endless notes!
The Dongle That Does It All
I hate the word dongle, but this one is awesome. It has four USB-A ports so I can plug in all of the peripherals I need, like my microphone, webcam, mouse, and keyboard. It also has an HDMI port for my external monitor, a USB-C port, SD and micro SD slots, and it even has an ethernet port. I can’t remember the last time I used ethernet, but I love that it’s there. I’ve used a few other dongles with my MacBook Pro, but this one is the best by far.
A Mouse That’s Perfect For Travel
I have tiny hands, and sometimes using a normal mouse gets a little painful. I look for small, low-profile mice, but inexpensive, good-quality mice are hard to find. I love this one though. It’s small, it’s lightweight, it’s great for my tiny baby hands, and it’s easy to disconnect and toss in my laptop bag if I’m going somewhere. It’s relatively flat so it doesn’t take up much space. I like it.

I basically live in dresses during the summer. I joke that they’re nightgowns that are socially acceptable to wear in public, but it’s not actually a joke. I love all kinds of tea, and each variety has its ideal steeping temperature. Who knew? This kettle allows me to choose the perfect temperature for my tea, and it’s also extremely quiet. I can make tea late at night without waking my fiance, and that makes both of us happy.
Kindle. Need I Say More?
The new Kindle Paperwhites are here, and they look glorious. Nothing beats turning pages in an actual, physical book, but books are heavy. When I want to leave the house and read something, it’s Kindle all the way. The new generation has more storage, a bigger screen, a new interface, USB-C charging, and (supposedly) faster page turns. It sounds like they’ve solved all of my complaints with my Kindle, and I am excited.
Turn Your Laptop Into A Desktop Without Sacrificing Space
I love my MacBook, but the screen is tiny and the keyboard is terrible, so I have it connected to an external monitor. I love this setup, but I didn’t love having my MacBook just sitting on my desk. It took up a lot of space that I needed for important things, like makeup. I found this stand and it’s perfect. It’s not Apple-specific so I’ll be able to use it if I ever switch ecosystems, and it fits multiple laptop sizes. It’s excellent.
Replace Your Kitchen Sponge With A Silicone Scrubber
Kitchen sponges are objectively gross. They breed germs and bacteria, and they start to stink really quickly. Even a trip through the dishwasher only does so much, which is why I use these silicone scrubbers. They’re gentle but still scrubby enough to tackle the crustiest dishes, and they’re easy to clean. Oh, and they don’t ever stink. Superior to sponges in every way.

I like lattes but I don’t like leaving the house. This was a dilemma until this little milk frother came into my life. It makes quick work of warm milk so I’m able to enjoy lattes to my heart’s delight. It also works for dalgona coffee; is anyone still making that? Did we finish that trend?

With my current setup, I’m not able to access my laptop’s webcam, which I don’t mind because it’s not a great camera. Putting an external webcam on my monitor results in a weird angle that I don’t love, so I bought a gooseneck stand. It makes a huge difference, and my coworkers have commented on how nice it is to see my face instead of the top of my head.
Make Chai Lattes At Home
I love chai lattes so, so much. I don’t love spending $5 on one so I figured out how to make them at home, and this tea is a key ingredient. I’ve tried several brands and types of chai tea, but I like the Vadham chai the best. I froth milk using the little frother I mentioned above and have chai lattes on demand. Thinking about it makes me want to go make one.
A Silicone Strainer That Fits Any Pot
I love pasta. I don’t love trying to balance a colander in my sink while I pour boiling water and scalding hot pasta into it. I’m clumsy so sometimes this goes badly. I found this strainer on a kitchen blog and knew I needed it in my life. It fits every pot in my kitchen and the clips are surprisingly sturdy. I’ve used it many times in the year that I’ve had it, and it’s never fallen off. It’s definitely in my top five favorite kitchen things.

I know, I know, it’s another beverage-related product, but my Sodastream is my number one kitchen appliance. I love seltzer.
