It’s the little things in life that make the world so interesting. Small, yet intriguing phenomena that make you stop every so often and just appreciate that sometimes the world can be unpredictable and a bit bizarre.
Enjoy a list of these moments that thanks to the connective power of the internet, are available for the world to see.
Well, I would be a tad surprised if I was in my favorite bar only to find that instead of a restroom, there was apparently a porta potty. I would then be double surprised if when trying to enter said porta potty, it turned out to actually be a real fully-fledged bathroom in the first place.
Are you running low on good vibes? Are you in need of a smile? Haven’t seen enough happy little mistakes to brighten up your day? Well then this Bob Ross themed energy drink may just be the pickmeup you need!
Well, I don’t know about you, but bees were scary enough to me when I thought they could just be in the air! Knowing that they can just as well be burrowed into the ground is somehow even more unsettling. These Miner Bees are so named for obvious reasons.
Well would you look at that? A pizza place so proud of their dough, that they want to show it off! Let’s hope that some young prospective pizza makers will find their inspiration here watching the magic that happens behind the scenes. Jokes aside, this would be one fun way for kids to wait for their pizzas.
Well I don’t remember the scene in The DaVinci Code where Robert Langdon pulled out a fresh pack o’ peanut butter cups to expose the underground society controlling the world by pulling the strings in the earth’s supply of peanut butter. Spoiler alert, the holy grail they mention is actually made of chocolate and is filled with holy peanut butter.
No, these dashes are not a miss-print, they’re actually a few sneaky lines of morse-code which found their way onto this bottle of Vitamin Water. The code translates to: “I’m not in danger I’m just looking for friendships based in a mutual understanding and respect of Morse code”
If a stalagmite is a rock formation in caves formed from the progressive deposition of minerals over centuries, then this is almost the same thing right? Except that this has a much shorter timeframe, the principle of water dripping slowly from this furnace vent and freezing into a…column is like a small, cold version of the same principle.
What happens to literally every pen we ever have? I’m not sure I’ve ever kept and used a pen long enough to actually run out of ink. That’s mostly thanks to the pen fairies who sneak into your room at night and steal perfectly good pens from you. At least be like the tooth fairy and leave me money pen fairies!
You may not know this, but plastic bottles do not begin life in the shapely forms they end up in. They actually start off as thick plastic test-tube shaped things which when coupled with intense pressure and heat, are expanded into a mold to take their final shapes.
Hold up, what year is it? For the kids out there, this is what we oldies refer to as a “floppy” disc. Dirty jokes aside, it’s not very floppy and it doesn’t look like a disc, but it is (was) reliable (so long as you only have to store more than 1.4 megabytes).
Is there anything more annoying than being asked if you need help in a store when you just want to browse? Yes. And that’s not being able to get help when you do want it. If every store implemented the same system as this Bangkok store, you bet that customer satisfaction would be off to a great start.
And not just one four-leafed clover, but two! That’s like, eight lucky leaves! Does that mean double the luck, or does one clover cancel out the other? I didn’t take Irish math in school sorry.
Do you still say “taking the rabbit for a walk”, or is it “take the rabbit for a hop”? At least you don’t have to watch out for the rabbit running after the mailman and dragging you behind it!
What do the same boots look like a year apart after working in a mine? These boots are the same make and model, identical in every way except one. The boots on the left are brand new whereas those on the right have been used for a full year in a mine. Needless to say, you can see what the wear and tear does to them!
Well that’s attention to detail! I suppose if you’re a store and the numbers seven and eleven are in your name, a clock is the perfect medium. Good thing both of those numbers are under twelve!
What do you get when you rub a plastic spoon against your sweater then scoop up a spoonful of spices? You get an upstanding spoonful is what you get! Isn’t science grand?
You may recognise this guy as the “Crazy Russian Hacker”. He’s got plenty of videos online of him testing products or equipment, but what you may not know is that he is 6ft7! So there’s your answer, this chair is massive. So massive, that it makes a tall man look like a small man.
If it’s not Friday the 13th, then we may just be fine. Otherwise, this just may be an apparition of Jason Voorhees, the horror icon. This may be less hockey mask and more espresso machine grill, but hey spooky is as spooky does.
A rock in the hand is worth two in the…also the hand actually! That’s only the case when one rock gets so neatly jammed inside another. The smaller one seems almost too be timidly hiding inside the other like a shy crab.
Well it’s a typical British breakfast that includes eggs and beans, so this two-for-the-price-of-one egg may just be the ultimate! I wonder if you cracked it open if it would contain bacon and black pudding for the ultimate British Breakfast capsule.
Is it just me, or does that Prius have two doors too many? If not, then looking at this may make you wonder if you’ve had too many yourself.
Sorry, couldn’t help myself. What is whacky is how these roots refuse to grow over onto the driveway. Well that’s nice of them, I’ve never seen such a well behaved tree.
This shadow of this lamp shade looks eerily like the mask of the one and only Iron Man. Arguably it also looks like a Lego man, but you get the heroes you chose right?
I’m not sure how I expected one to chain up a unicycle… I guess I just thought nobody would every want to steal one of those.
Among the panic it helps to be able to wash our hands smartly and effectively. These hands-free hand washing stations allow us to keep our hands clean by activating a peddle with our feet. This was spotted outside a small town grocery store.
Dracaris! Normally dragons may be used to protect realms, but I guess they can be used to protect valuable shipped items. straight to your doorstep, hopefully not burnt. I guess Puff the magic dragon, was actually just “Puffy”.
Well we all have a lot of time on our hands at the moments, but this is another level. Meticulously creating the alphabet from pieces of preztel may seem like a waste of time, but actually…well, I guess it’s just a tasty waste of time.
“There’s just too much plastic in the world”… or whatever Lemar sang. How cool are these bottles made from cardboard, out there to reduce the amount of plastic bottles being put out there. Good stuff Seventh Generation.
If I lived in Florida, I would have to assume that this is some omen of an imminent alligator attack. Either that or you’re being haunted by some sort of gator ghost.
This tree still stands to this day after withstanding the A-Bomb, which was detonated only 750 metres away! It may have a ways to go in regards to its fashion-sense, but hey- the burlap sack looks good on you if you’re a true survivor.
This paw is verified, 50% pink, 50% black. Split down the middle, the paw is not totally unique in that it’s split between different colors, but to be so evenly split is remarkable.
When times are tough and the meat runs out, you can do one of two things: 1, you can let the meat section remain empty, wasting precious refrigerator space. Or 2, you can fill the meat bins with beer, ice cold and ready for purchase. Now that’s clever!
What more novel way to chain your bike than to a bike rack that look just like the thing that it’s meant to hold? I wonder how many people attempt to ride this home after too many bevies at the bar.
So…apparently Jack survived the sinking of the Titanic, and continued to send Rose love notes through small denomination bills. And well into the 70’s!
Now that the city is on lockdown in Barcelona, these wild hogs have come down from the mountains to check it out. I’ve never seen such a porky tourist!
Lagunitas is a very popular craft beer brewery, and produce the US’s number one selling IPA. When they set out to make this non alcoholic drink, they kept their characteristic sense of humour and included this bogus “warming” label.
Isn’t nature spectacular? Even in the little things like how the pollen collects in these raindrops and sits in the middle like little egg yolks.
The ice on this person’s car rolled off naturally creating these…scrolls, and the ice on the bonnet created these wonderful formations. Sometimes winter does the decorating for you!
Julius Caesar got stabbed in the back by his friends before it was cool. Long before Mean Girls, ancient Rome did it first.
