Dawn from Seattle worked in the airline industry but was looking to pursue a different career as a flight attendant. As we know sometimes a new look helps you gain confidence, and that’s exactly what Dawn needed for her new path.
After watching The Makeover Guy’s videos she concluded that he was the right stylist for the job. However, she was really nervous about it all!
Dawn was having trouble letting go.
We all have things we like and dislike about ourselves. For Dawn the airline worker, she always loved her long curly hair.
Unfortunately, as you get older – hair oftentimes thins out and isn’t quite the same. This too happened to Dawn, whose mane had become a lot less full. Yet, she was struggling with the idea of cutting it off.
She explained:
“They say you hold onto what you think is the best part of your life maybe, and mine’s always been my longer hair.”
Dawn wasn’t exactly able to flaunt her long hair at work though. Because she moved around so much dealing with luggage, she usually pulled it back.
Being a flight attendant would be a completely different field for Dawn. It would be more “refined” and as she described it, “more attractive” – the reasons why she wanted to bump up her style!
The Makeover Guy was ready to take on the challenge. Although, it wouldn’t be his first.
Christopher Hopkins is no stranger when it comes to helping a person look and feel their best. He owns a studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he’s performed numerous transformations, even capturing some of them on film.
His videos are always inspiring – while the end results are absolutely fabulous! Dawn would be in good hands with The Makeover Guy, who’s worked on many famous celebrities as well. He even has a fun and light-hearted personality.
After getting the royal treatment, Dawn’s new look was finally revealed…
Christopher wrote in the video’s description:
“She was afraid to go short since her hair takes so long to grow. And low maintenance was needed. Since it has thinned out so much in her 40’s it really was going to be more uplifting and easy, adding volume, but still long enough to pull back if she needs to. A little more drama to the eye makeup and brows give her a more confident and sexy vibe.”
Seeing Dawn is like looking at a whole new person! She was given a shorter haircut – but it’s full, curly, and still has some length. In addition, her makeup is really stunning taking her appearance to the next level.
If Dawn was hoping for a more “refined” flight attendant look – Christopher nailed it. She’s radiant!
In her interview, Dawn admits that she was quite nervous during the makeover. But that’s completely understandable when you’re making big changes.
The big question is, how did Dawn feel after the transformation? She had some advice for others that really says it all.
“I say do it! I was nervous and I’ve never done anything like this before. I saw the videos online and saw the changes – and just everybody’s so uplifted after they’ve done it. So do it, do it, do it, don’t wait!”
