Perhaps you would go to its famous spots like Colosseum and St. Peter’s Basilica. They are undoubtedly beautiful and definitely worth visiting. But we have another suggestion.

Once you get to Rome someday, make sure to listen to Serin Halim

He is an Italian busker who usually surprises the people who visit the Pantheon in Rome.

The man is already famous among locals and tourists alike because his phenomenal covers of Pink Floyd songs stay engraved in your memory. We’ve all heard of Pink Floyd, but for those who haven’t, they are an English progressive rock band. Halim performs their song “Time” in the video, the fourth track on their 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon.

Since Pink Floyd is considered to be one of the most influential bands in music history, it’s quite hard to do a decent cover of any of their songs.

The band used to create very vivid live shows, and it’s hard to reproduce the energy the group knew how to deliver. However, Halim attracts people with his amazing voice and excellent guitar playing.

His voice could steal anyone’s attention and his passion for music isn’t hard to see.

You would also notice the music equipment that he always brings with him – including an amplifier and his guitar.

It’s a black Stratocaster, similar to one David Gilmour had. There’s an excited crowd around him, and we can see on people’s faces that they recognize the Pink Floyd vibe in his performance. The audience doesn’t even blink—that’s how much everyone seems to enjoy his voice.

He still continued performing beautifully.

It’s even after a cop talked to him. Halim doesn’t miss a chord at all. He just remains cool and keeps going.

It would be fantastic if a talented man like him got signed! He would have an opportunity to perform for a large audience without being interrupted. As this clip shows, the real talent is on the streets sometimes.

To hear Time being sang in front of Pantheon is amazing.

A classic song and an ancient building? Interesting.

It makes you think about the past and future at the same time because all our buildings will be the new ruins thousands of years from now. This is how we know that music inspires and touches us. It’s a magical moment when the audio and visual collide, and we get to see a different perspective. Music truly makes the world go ’round, and when a man plays it as well as Halim does, then he deserves the biggest round of applause and some of your money.

The clip was just posted in 2015.

More than 6 million people have seen the video online.

It’s just so inspiring to see Serin’s passion for music. If you would search for his name online, you will find his other song covers. His talent and love for music deserve to be seen by many people.

Hopefully, when the pandemic is over, he would get to perform again in the same spot.
