People know by now that its expensive to go to the movie, and they hate the rule that no outside food or drink can be brought in. Some go nuts over the price of the food at the concession stands and hold up the line complaining about it.

A regular movie theatre patron attends the theatre on a regular basis to watch the early show. Once he has finished his drink, he disgustingly pees back into the cup.

Almost everyone one has some general reaction to a movie whether its sad or funny. But there are some that leave the theatre so emotionally distraught that you would think that their best friend had just died.

One female patron came in to watch a horror movie with blood and guts scenes and proceeded to run to the trash can to vomit and missed. She ended up vomiting all down the wall.

Then there are some movie goers that if the movie didn’t turn out exactly the way they thought it was going to they go through a whole rant about it with the theatre staff.

A movie theatre employee experienced a lady arriving with her crying baby wanted admittance to see a Restricted rated late show. She argued aggressively with the baby on her hip and finally left but proceeded to call the manager and to express her anger, stating she was about to become physically violent.

It seems like young teens going on their first date always pick the movie theatre. This is where mom and dad drop them off and pick them up. Then they realize that they can’t chat or get to know each other. They have to just sit there in silence. Although there have been some that have been caught doing a lot more than that. Bet Mom and Dad didn’t think about this.

While working at the concession stand, the employee was directed to always try to up-sell their products. The employee had one customer that was so rude everytime he tried to ask about the size of the items she was ordering, that she ended up losing it and yelling at him, simply for doing his job.

Not only is this movie horrific it can sexually explicit. Yet some parents will bring their toddlers along with them to see it. Time and again there has been a sobbing youngster to be heard above the screams of the crowd when a grizzly murder is taking place.

A lot of theatre staff are surprised at just how may people come to watch a movie and sleep through the who thing. Maybe they are just paying the price of a movie so they can have a comfortable chair to sleep in instead of a park bench.

When people are constantly complaining about the cost of going to the theatre and taking it out on the staff, they are forgetting one thing. The majority of the money made goes back to the movie distributor. So instead of shouting at the staff have a little sympathy for how little pay they are working for.

One movie theatre patron would come in on a regular basis every Tuesday without fail and demand that it was free popcorn Tuesday. If that didn’t work he would make up other excuses as to why he was entitled to free popcorn and would ridicule the staff that was serving him.

One theatre worker felt sorry for people that were sitting alone through a movie. Then he realised that whenever he went with a friend to the movies all they did was talk. Now he sees sitting watching a movie along is a blessing in disguise.

A woman came in to the movie theatre one day with her children to buy tickets to see a movie that had already started and expected the sales staff to do something about the movie that had already started.

Many movie employees enjoy watching how some people get so wrapped up in the movie they are watching that it’s like they have transcended into the movie itself and have become the star.

On cheap Tuesday nights for some reason, one of the patrons would always poop in a sink in the ladies bathroom. Since it occured every single Tuesday night the staff was determined to catch the culprit. It turned out to be an underaged teenage girl who was not permitted to watch any restricted movies by the staff.

Popcorn always smells better at the movie theatre. That’s because most often chemicals have been added to so it will smell great and entice people to buy it.

Three elderly men would come in on a regular basis a few times a week. They all would indulge in chewing tobacco and leave their disgusting spit cans behind for the staff to clean up.

Some movie theatre employees say the only food they will eat when at the theatre is popcorn, drinks and wrapped or box candy. They stay away from nachos or the pretzels and even the hotdogs. However, they don’t say why.

One movie theatre employee regularly came across people making out in the empty movie theatres. One couple in particular continued their sexual pleasures even when she poked them with the end of her broom. Finally they got the message and took their extra-curricular activities elsewhere.

If anyone wants to see the greatest actor of them all when going to the theatre then just ask to see the manager when you have something to complain about. Most of them will agree with whatever your complaint is even if they don’t agree. No muss, no fuss is the motto.

One day this kid came into the movie theatre dressed in a costume and tried to get into a restricted movie. When the employee asked him for ID, the kid so angry he shoved the employee before leaving. Must have been a full moon.

For those movie theatre patron that do buy from the concession stand they usually will buy the combos but what they don’t know is they really aren’t getting a deal. The price would be the same if they bought the items separately.

EMS was called and the movie had to be paused for the heart attack victim to be attended to. Several of the other patrons were irate that they couldn’t watch the end of the movie even though they received a full refund.

Fast food is supposed to be fast. But often in theatres a lot of the food is heated by microwave and even they do take a while, so there is no point in complaining about it.

On numerous occasions theatre patrons have come to the desk complaining that their movie hasn’t begun yet. When asked what the time is listed for the viewing, it is always minutes before it is supposed to start. Some people have no patience.

What really irks theatre employees is when people ask for extra cups. To them its no big deal, but everything is inventoried and it’s the staff that have to answer for the missing cups.

Cell phone use can always be a problem in movie theatres. However normally when people are asked to cease using their phones during the movie they comply. That is until this one woman ignored the request of a theatre employee to put her phone away, stating that using her phone wasn’t a problem. When the employee told her she had received complaints, the woman began yelling obscenities to the other patrons.

A lot of usually thoughtful people seem to lose their manners when at the theatre. For example it is nothing for them to just drop their half full popcorn and pop cups on the floor. It seems like they act as though they are expected to do this.

One evening in one of the movie theatres that was empty, a couple were making out. All the staff members became aware of the situation and when the couple left the theatre the staff began to clap for them. The woman was annoyed and accused the staff of spying on them. She must have forgotten that a movie theatre is a public place.

People are not supposed to sneak food or drink into the theater so they think they are being clever when they come in wearing a coat three times too big for them, or a grossly oversized purse is dragging their should down

This one man who frequented the movie theatre alone would always rudely approach the concession stand and throw his bag of popcorn at them and say butter. No please, no nothing, not even eye contact. It’s no wonder he was always alone.

The theatre concessions aim to please but its no joke when the lineup is a mile long and the next customer asks for unsalted popcorn. Which is now going to take several minutes to make.

This woman came up to the ticket office to buy her movie ticket and the sales representative asked if she would like the seniors discount. The woman went offside and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came over to speak with her and found out what the issue was, the manager asked if she was over 65 and the woman said yes. The manager replied the sales representative was just doing their job.

At a Cineplex staff always have to be on the look out for those who have purchased tickets for the children’s show but are really hoping to sneak into the R-rated movies.

It never fails and wouldn’t be a regular day if one or more of the movie theatre patrons did not complain about how expensive everything is at the theatre. They seem to forget it’s not the staff that sets the prices.

One would think that with today’s modern technology that calling the movie theatre to ask when the next movie is playing would be obsolete. Well sad to say its not. Staff are constantly busy answering this same question over and over again.

On several occasions when people have come to the theatre to watch a foreign movie, they haven’t read about the movie being in another language and having to read subtitles. They become very offended and complain to the staff, like they can do anything about it.

One of the most common mistakes that customers make is buying the wrong ticket for the movie they want to see. They don’t realize how much of a hassle it is to have to void that ticket. They just assume it can be ripped up and replaced with the right one.

After watching a movie a man proceeded to pleasure himself and made a mess all over one of the seats in the theatre. This was so disgusting none of the staff wanted anything to do with cleaning it up. They simply put a bag over the chair and left it there.

Some patrons believe that there should always be a spot just for them. Then when they arrive and see the sold out sign they just tend to ignore it and will spend time arguing with the ticket provider as to why there should be room for one or two more.

One theatre employee that worked at a movie theatre that was adult only. Due to the fact they served alcohol no one under 21 was ever permitted through the doors. One night when the staff was cleaning up they found a used diaper and to this day can’t figure out where it came from.

It is hard to believe that on occasion someone will sit through an entire movie then ask for their money back because they didn’t like it. It does happen!

Movie theatres make most of their money from the concession stands, so they do not permit outside food be brought into the theatre. The strangest thing happened during clean up one night in one of the movie theatres. An employee found a fish in a bag of water that was floating on top dead. The strangest thing about it was the fact that it was a restricted movie and there were no kids in the theatre.

There are some movie staffers who are convinced that there are some patrons that come to the movie theatre just so they can down some alcohol without having to worry about who is watching them. It is not unusual to find a few empties under the seats during clean up

A couple that regularly attended the movie theatre would never buy anything from the concession stand, but at the end of the movie there would always be chicken wing bones all over the floor. The strangest part about this is, everyone’s bag gets checked upon entry and there was no food in their bag.

There are a lot of nasty chores that have to be dealt with by theatre staff. One of the worst is when the manager asks an employee to dig under the seats to find a lost item for a patron.

During clean up one night, one of the staff members found the weirdest thing. She found a trash bag full of chicken bones. Not only that, the trash bag had duct tape on it and it was full of hair. Obviously someone sneaked in some food.

Some movie patron tend to treat the staff like they are paid servants. Such as asking them to go buy food from the concession stand for them. Or they just take it for granted that the staff is there to clean up after them. After all isn’t that what they are getting paid for? That’s what the assumption is of many.

The most disgusting thing one of the movie theatre staff members came across was a used condom in the movie theatre where Shrek 3 was playing. Don’t think it was a kid.

Some that come to the movies do so with the intent of filming the movie itself. Staffers have to be on the look out for this and what the person doesn’t realize is that this actually against the law and can land them in jail.

One managers biggest complaint from many people who choose to arrive late for the movie is that the theatre oversold tickets because there is no seating left. The manager explains it is impossible to oversell the tickets because the computer system states the theatre is full at 90% of the seating capacity. Arrive early people.

There are some movie watchers that just can’t wait till intermission to use the bathroom. So reluctantly off they go not wanting to miss a second of the movie. They are in such a hurry they don’t even take the time to flush the toilets. When you get enough customers doing this one can only imagine what cleaning the washrooms is like.

The most gross thing that is a reoccuring event for one theatre employee is the fact that people continuously pee on the seats. The whole theatre smells like a fish factory.

On the odd occasion, a theatre manager may tell an employee they can leave early, and the worker feels like they have just won the lottery.

This one couple came into the theatre and watched a kids movie, when they came out they asked the manager if they could go back into the theatre and have sex. The stunned manager simply stated absolutely not.
