When we think of the person we want to spend the rest of our lives with, we imagine him or her loving us for what matters – our personality, our motivation, and our spirit. One woman has had a harder time than most finding love, but not because men don’t want her. This woman is looking for a certain type of man to fall in love with.

Dawn Cousins is a mother of 4 who works as a receptionist. She has a pair of 17 year old twins and two daughters ages 20 and 22. Dawn is 44 years old, but she often gets mistaken for her daughters’ sister. She is flattered by the attention, but sometimes it gets in the way of her own life.

“The thing is I look half my age,” Dawn explained to The Sun, “and I have men drooling over me all the time, aged from 18 to ancient. I sometimes wish I didn’t look so good, then I might attract the right kind of man I could spend my life with.”

For Dawn, it is important to find a man who values who she is, not how she looks. “I seem to get the men who are only after looks and not personality,” she observed. “Those types are not the kind of person you want to spend your days with.”

Dawn’s youthfulness comes from the fact that she has no wrinkles and takes care of her health. She wants to find a man who takes care of himself, too. “I do want to find a man to marry,” she admits, “but he needs to be at the same level as me.”

In the meantime, this energetic mother enjoys spending time with her daughters. Even then, Dawn gets a lot of unwanted attention.

She shares, “If [my daughters] see a young man approaching me they’ll quickly slip the word ‘mum’ into the conversation to make it clear who I am, to try and stop any awkward conversations, but it doesn’t always happen . . . I guess I’m a MILF!”

Even some of Dawn’s daughters’ friends have hit on her! This mom always handles the situation with good humor. While she could never imagine getting that close to someone like that, she is flattered by the attention.

Ultimately, though, Dawn is looking for love. So far, she has had bad luck since her last relationship ended. “I assumed I would find someone after the heartbreak of splitting up was over, but it never happened.”

Though years have passed, the life-loving mother hasn’t given up hope that she will find someone worth her while. She is even considering traveling to meet someone new. “I’m thinking America with plenty of men to meet, in one of those states there must be the man of my dreams,” Dawn wonders. “I just have to get searching.”

This is a woman who understands that a quality man is hard to find. She is willing to patiently wait until she meets the person to whom she can give her whole heart.

Dawn’s story reminds us of the importance of knowing our own self worth. If you wait to date someone with whom you are truly compatible, you are sure to find happiness.
