50 hilarious knockoff brands that were hard to miss

Knockoffs are pretty much a fact of life. Some are hilarious and you’re happy to spend your money on them for the fun factor. But the reality is, they aren’t created to make you laugh, they are created to make someone money while effectively stealing that money from someone else.

We’re not here to discuss legalities and ethics. We’re not here to ask whether you should buy that counterfeit handbag because you can afford the real thing.

What are we here for? To have some fun and mock some really crappy knockoffs, some of which don’t even make sense.

1. Ralph Lauren’s Gator Polo

In what country is this a thing? Gators, I think Florida. Polo, I think Britain.

2. Okay, this is brilliant

Coke and Pepsi. Cock and Peepi. The thing is, the chances whoever the non-English speaking person is behind this would realize the joke is pretty small.

3. Red Bull

The real name makes me think of power. Strength. Energy. But Red Balls? I’m thinking STD.

4. Is that an L or an I?

I can’t tell if that says poopie or poople. Either way, this sounds painful.

5. “You’re not you when you’re hungry.”

Yes, the rage intensifies and I start shooting people. And instead of nuts, the bar has bullet fragments.

6. Just Do It

The swoop has turned into a duck. Nike does it, but Mike ducks it.

7. Oreo Knockoffs

Some of thess are crazy. WhoNu that you could CremeBetween Ohio and Borneo?

8. FlameBob ScorchPants

What on earth am I looking at? Is this a BBQ or firepit. If so, it’s actually pretty awesome.

9. This ain’t no monarchy

Yes, that is the Burger King logo. And they even stole the Trademark symbol.

10. Clever

If you weren’t really paying attention, you could get caught on this one. Changing the ampersand to an A.

Not Supreme

Likely a knockoff of the Supreme brand. Turn it over and you are in for a surprise.

12. Are they advertising for Crocs?

And has Shrek had a sex change that we haven’t heard about? He’s gained some girl parts and seems to have lost some boy parts.

13. Angry Garfield

First, if this vest if for a woman, those Angry Birds are positioned so hysterically. I hope Garfield and the Birds are friends.

14. This is a phone case!

I have a simple black phone case. When I could carry around the Orginial Pirmlges. I can’t even say that.

15. Somehow I doubt it

I’m trying to imagine a young Colonel Sanders in my mind. And it isn’t anywhere near this.

16. Oh, Amazon

We know the store is full of illegal knockoffs. But you’d think they would do a bit better at checking for questionable content on Prime Video.

17. Yes, I can see the connection

Actually, no I can’t. Is this saying Jesus can control me via my game console? Frankly, that’s a bit creepy.

18. Eau de stinky privacy policy

I wonder if Zuckerberg can read your mind if you wear this. Just like WhatsApp said they’re going to start reading your messages so they can spam you with advertising.

19. Terrifying

Cosplay or bad knockoff? And does it really matter? Psycho Barney looks like it’s going for that child.

20. Fear of Lego

See how they very carefully made the Lego logo into something else? But who cares about the rights behind the Harry Potter franchise, apparently.

Yes. Double cheese, bacon, pepperoni . . . Sir, you have the wrong place. This is PitaHut, not PizzaHut. But the confusion is understandable.

22. I can’t wrap my hoed around this

Actually, from what I can figure out, part of this is in Dutch and part in Spanish. That’s some knockoff team behind this.

23. Treading the line

Clearly, the title is different. And the characters are freaky representations of the originals. But I bet it’s still infringement.

24. Secrete?

Who thought using that word would be a good idea? Who in their right mind wants to put something that claims to secrete on their mouth?

25. My Little Phony

So did they buy the ponies? Or are they centaurs and we just can’t see that. I’m really not seeing the pony.

26. Justice League, assemble!

That’s a twist on Autobots, assemble. Except they were really meant to assemble. Nowhere, no how so Superman, Batman, Ironman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, and the Hulk assimilate into one.

27. Let’s replicate the smell of social media

These are cans of body spray. Honestly, I can’t see the anyone wanting to spray themselves with the smell of Yahoo or Viber.

28. 2021 release of the iFan

But it can’t be plugged into your wall since it takes a special connector. It will cost you an extra $50 to get the cord and adapter. And the software is a POS.

29. Not going to lie. I didn’t see that right away.

That says SAMSNUG not SAMSUNG. They just want you to think your data will be all nice and cozy, when in reality there will be spyware and malware embedded in it somewhere.

30. Had to do some digging

So apparently the HUB part is from the Porn Hub logo. Not sure why anything thought it would be a good idea to turn that into Coffee Hub.

31. Just what you want for your shoes

This is a knockoff of the Under Armor brand. Which makes sense. Under Arms just makes me think your shoes will smell like stinky feet AND stinky under arms.

32. Did mom and dad break up?

I guess she got the pizza business in the custody battle. But she really should have left the name as Papa John’s Pizza.

33. When did Shrek get a makeover?

And I’m really not convinced it’s for the better. At least it isn’t as creepy as the other Shrek knockoff listed above.

34. Yes, that will fool everyone

Although, I guess fooling people isn’t the goal. You want them to think they’re getting the real thing. You want them to be too stupid to read.

35. When cute becomes disturbing

Is this what happens when Yoda mates with an orangutan? A scary looking baby Yoda?

36. How disappointing!

They don’t even sell hamburgers. They sell pizza. Surely Mr Mahmoud could have found something better to steel.

37. When you’re paying for a name

Not right, but what do you want to bet those basic black socks are every bit as good and the originals? But cheaper since they don’t have the right name.

38. SpongeBob goes postal

So what is this? Has SpongeBob given up on Squidward? And now he’s off on a duck hunt?

39. You know what the real mystery is?

First, this has been downloaded over 100 thousand times. Second, it has a 3.5 star rating. Conclusion? Kids will download anything.

40. Forget the knockoff

I can’t see past that lid! It’s bad enough it isn’t screwed on properly. But it needs to be cleaned off! I bet this person has bugs in their house and is too dumb to figure out why.

41. Clever

I do know that Sinso is a family name. I’m wondering if the image of a rather drunk looking Bart is just a really smart pairing. Not that using that image is legal, of course.

42. What’s the deal with SpongeBob

Seriously, why so many SpongeBob knockoffs? I can understand it for stuff marketed to kids, but this doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

43. Does Mike have a whole line?

Or is this a different Nike knockoff. The Mike backpack above had a duck logo instead of a swoop. Not sure what this is.

44. Translation gone wrong

I bet there is no perfect translation of Transformers from Chinese to English. So the result is deformed person.

45. Peppa Goes Wild

I have to admit I’ve never seen an episode of Peppa Pig, or whatever it’s called. As I matter of fact, I only learned of her recently. However, I’m thinking she’s not typically driving a tank, am I right?

Hey kids, lets get fish and chips for dinner. And then they find out they’re about to eat Nemo and his family. Um, yeah. No!

47. Uh, didn’t he walk on the water?

I have never heard about underwater Jesus. Just that he walked on top of the water. So the connection here is lost on me.

Seriously? The original store is called GameStop. I would think if you’re going to ride the coat tails of another name, something like GameStart would have been a better choice.

Just Don’t. I wonder if they have that slogan instead of Just Do It somewhere on there merchandise.

50. Maybe it’s real?

There is some debate that this isn’t a knockoff. It’s a legit game that’s been translated. But wouldn’t LEGO be LEGO in any language?
