Sometimes you look at a scene and see double. Or it sparks a memory of something you’ve seen before.
These photos show us just how much a moment can replicate a photo, painting, or just eerily resemble something nearby.
We had to laugh at these pics of life imitating “art”:
1. Thanks for the mammaries
Was this intentional? The look on her face seems to say “I don’t know there are two boob-shaped tanks right behind me.”
2. Lifelike baby doll
I wonder what this mom thought when she looked up and thought her daughter was in a box on the shelf.
At least now we know that if you ever run out of baby clothes, doll clothes can substitute in a pinch!
3. A Disney moment
In the Lion King, Simba was going to be Timone’s friend for life.
Let’s hope that in real life he doesn’t view him as a snack when he gets hungry!
4. A man and his work
This man has been making delicious pizza in New York for years. If you need any proof, just check on the wall next to him!
5. So good it looks photoshopped
Some photos are so well staged they almost look photoshopped! Well, this one probably is.
6. Contagious cuteness
Just seeing this photo makes you want to yawn!
This pup must have a history of yawning if they were able to get a framed photo of him WITH a second photo of him caught in the act!
7. A bit wonky
A tiger. Regal. Beautiful. Proud.
The cat? Looks like it’s about to sneeze. Pained. Clearly not ok.
8. Poor guy
This little cop was just trying to do his job, not get ROASTED on live television. I mean, we can’t deny that’s it’s funny. It’s just too perfect.
9. Disney princess
Well, Disney probably used real royals as the basis of their characters, so it’s only fair that they get to borrow a look or two.
10. Dedication to his craft
If this artist made this and truly sat here as part of the display, major respect. If he was just a passerby who happened to look EXACTLY like the display, also pretty cool!
11. Away into the night
This just feels majestic. The light reflecting off the horse onto the cat? Frankly, it’s quite beautiful!
12. Charlie Brown
Things don’t get much better than this! It’s clearly staged, but that doesn’t take away from how adorable it is!
13. Routine, routine.
Clearly, this dog has a routine. Sitting straight up like this was so normal for him they got it framed!
14. Sneaky cat
Cats and kittens are truly the cutest things ever. This photo just proves that it’s true in real life and in print form.
15. Paint me like one of your litter girls
What better place to pose for a sexy photo than a litter box? I surely can’t think of any place better.
16. Paint by dog
We’ve all heard of paint-by-number crafts, but this new version is way better AND cuter. We are all for it!
17. Mechanical horse
A mechanical bull is one thing, but a mechanical horse is another! The only other mechanical horses we’ve all ridden are the ones that cost a quarter outside the supermarket.
18. Howlin’
Dogs love to be howlin! This doodle seems to be having a great time howling at the great outdoors alongside his wooden friend.
19. Horsing around
This Disney movie is a classic. It’s not hard to see why they came up with the idea for the movie – it happens all the time in real life!
20. Still as a statue
Dogs take their guarding duties very seriously. This one, at least, clearly does. At least he has a partner to keep him company!
