Staying in the hospital can be frightening and scary for everyone involved, but this doctor from the Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, definitely managed to lift the spirits of one of his young patients and her siblings.

When Doctor Chima Matthew entered the room of Autumn Moses, he immediately noticed that the young girl’s siblings were very worried about her health. Autumn had a strep throat and was being treated at the hospital. Strep throat is a common bacterial infection in children and is often the cause of a sore throat.

Doctor Matthew wanted to do something that would cheer everybody up, so he decided to bust out some incredibly funny dance moves.

The gloomy mood quickly disappeared when Autumn and her sisters saw the doctor dancing to the beats of the popular song “Rolex” by Ayo & Teo. He pulled out his smartphone, put on the song and started dancing right away.

The man almost instantly used a hilarious “zombie” dance move which made Autumn and her siblings laugh out loud. Their mom also happened to enter the room and took her phone to capture this amazing and certainly unexpected footage.

It didn’t take long before the doctor asked Autumn’s siblings to dance along with him. Even with a stethoscope around the doctor’s neck, he made sure to time his enthusiastic dance moves to the rhythm of the beat.

The man then encourages the siblings to form a circle and even “dab” together. Doctor Matthew also doesn’t forget to give the patient some attention as well and you can hear her noticeably giggling and laughing.

The funny doctor certainly knows how to save the best for last. When he starts singing as well, the room goes wild and everybody can’t stop laughing. Dr. Matthew then gives everyone a high five before he departs the room again.

It’s little acts such as these that can have such a positive impact and lasting impression on children that they will remember for a very long time.

The official Facebook page of the Wolfson Children’s Hospital posted the video and with just under ten million views, this doctor hasn’t only brought a smile to the Moses family, but to the internet as well.

“Caught in the act of caring! Dr. Chima Matthew was treating a young patient when he noticed her siblings seemed worried. He decided to lighten the mood by playing music and asking them to join him in dancing. Mom said she’s never seen a doctor so passionate and natural with kids, adding “that two minutes out of his life made a lasting impression on ours.” Way to go, doc!” the video caption reads.

What an amazing doctor!
