Though these are getting rarer and rarer lately, we’ve likely all experienced this. It’s usually very short, with a quick and confused exchange before the person calling gets off the line. And we generally don’t remember it. For all the discussion of texting vs. calling, texting definitely wins out for those who cherish a good, awkward wrong number. This way, there’s evidence—and definitely a lot of room to play around.
